Human beings dive deep into the waters of self-interest. Why? Because we WANT to know what's down and up there, sideways and in between. We want to experience the icy cold or scalding waters for ourselves. We do not just want to be told about it! Although some of the dives may appear ludicrous, dangerous and unnecessary, nothing could be further from
the truth. We need these dives! We would shrivel up and die without them.
We are already self-actualized beings but simply don't know it, yet. We have believed that we could exist and flourish under/by/through the guidance of another who was either 'apparently' more skilled or knowledgeable. NOT so! We must travel our own designated path of uncertainty, unfamiliarity and insecurity to be know. And, knowing is the key event which turns the knob of remembrance for us.
We can NOT take us where we are going!
Though the journey can see a little bumpy at times, the flow fits us perfect. In order to experience the fullest capacity of "joy unspeakable and full of glory" we must take those daring risks. To liberate the human potential of the mortal, we must face the obstacles, barriers, restraints and hardships that line the riverbank. After one reaches his 40's the current speeds up. But, ONLY because the body/mind mechanism is equipped to handle it and more!
No longer will arbitrary preconditioning and/.or skeptical inhibiting factors hold him back. NO. It's a total surrender to the jumping into the riverbed headfirst with no life jacket. It's a clear time to celebrate the revealing, exposing both in witnessing and partaking of these glorious fruits of the liberated awakened self.
What matters IF the road is strewn with treacherous self-induced demons of self-doubt? Greetings of embrace go to the disbarred parts of the unrecognized self for all the blame, remorse, regret and holding back that takes place in each breath of being alive, in which he assumed was his fault. When we allow (we can do nothing else) "what's a happening" to fully saturate us in our present environment and relationships, we dance for unencumbered delight. When we KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that "we're all in this thing, together" and we can not be stopped, hurt, or influenced any longer.
We are and have always been free! We can Finally Feel Good!
